Former UCRP Secretary, Kirby Glad, has been appointed by Chairman Craig Frank, to Chair the new Youth & Community Engagement Advisory Committee (YCEAC).
This Chairman’s Ad Hoc committee [Bylaw 8.F.] will provide outreach to young people (and others) across the County, educating them on party platform principles and creating local group organizations for opportunities for education and service. The YCEAC will also focus on developing social media connectivity and contest opportunities to engage individuals and organized groups to spread the “coolness” of being a Republican.
The committee will be comprised of a representative appointed from each of the 15 Legislative Districts throughout Utah County to engage teenagers and young adults (all Republicans or potential Republicans) in every aspect of UCRP education, election, and process. Each member of this committee will be appointed by their respective Legislative District Chair. The YCEAC will cross-coordinate its efforts with all appropriate committees and officers to maximize its countywide effectiveness.
